How Therapy Can Help With Trauma
Trauma shows up in many different ways. You might find yourself easily startled or emotionally numb, struggling to sleep, feeling angry or shut down, or avoiding people or places that feel unsafe. Sometimes trauma creates a deep sense of shame or confusion, especially if your experiences were ignored or dismissed at the time.
