You might feel tired all the time, disconnected from yourself or others, or like you’ve lost interest in things that used to matter, and have no motivation. Some people describe a deep sadness, others feel nothing at all. However it shows up for you, therapy is a space to explore these feelings - and find a way to gently begin again.

I offer one-to-one depression counselling for adults, with support that’s warm, personalised, and free of judgement. There’s no need to explain things perfectly, you can simply show up as you are.

Depression can affect your thoughts, body, sleep, and relationships. Many people also feel guilt, shame, or like they “should” be coping better. You’re not alone - there is support, and you can feel better.

How Depression Counselling Works

Counselling for depression isn’t about forcing positivity — it’s about making sense of what’s underneath the heaviness, whether that’s sadness, emptiness, or loss of motivation. Together, we explore what’s been difficult and look for small, manageable ways to feel more grounded.

Sessions are one-to-one and move entirely at your pace. Some days you may want to talk things through, other times we might focus on noticing patterns or emotions that keep you feeling stuck. Over time, this process can help you reconnect with yourself, find balance, and begin to feel more like you again.
