Grief and Loss Therapy
Struggling to cope with loss can feel so isolating - you're not alone
Grief doesn’t follow a straight line. Some days you may feel numb and empty, other days everything feels sharp and raw. You might find yourself withdrawing, struggling to focus and connect with anything or anyone, or wondering why you still feel so lost months or even years later. This is so normal.
Whether your loss is recent or a long time ago, whether it’s the death of a loved one, a miscarriage, the end of a relationship, or the loss of a life you thought you’d have, grief counselling offers space to process the feelings around your loss gently, without pressure or expectation to "move on", or behave in ways you might think the world expects or wants you to.

What You Can Bring To Sessions
You don’t need to have a clear reason for reaching out. Loss can be obvious or invisible - from bereavement and miscarriage to estrangement, the end of a role or identity, or a future that didn’t unfold as expected. Sometimes people come unsure whether what they’re feeling “counts” as grief. It does.
Counselling gives you a place to slow down, acknowledge and process your experience.

"I have really valued talking to Anne. She is warm, engaging, and has a way of finding just the right question to ask that makes me think and respond honestly. She has challenged me and been a strong shoulder in equal measure. Time with her is never wasted. Thank you."
